Designed and manufactured by Shelton,
this versatile Gravel Cart is an essential ancillary
product for the serious soil drainage contractor.
The model pictured on the right may
be used on its own for filling land drainage trenches,
or alternatively for filling smaller hoppers on the
move that are being used for backfilling purposes.
Up to six tonnes capacity the gravel
cart is designed to handle gravels, sands and manufactured
materials such as pulverised fuel ash and Lytag. Conveyor
discharge height it variable from 45cm (18")
to 2m (78"). Height adjustment and drive are
hydraulic, as are all other controls.
A hopper viewing window, road and
hand brakes, full road lighting and extended height
boards are standard, as are wide low ground pressure
tyres. A budget model is also available for the smaller
operator where cost is a concern.
